Tamal Vista Corridor Study

Corte Madera | CA

This detailed corridor study involved a comprehensive community engagement process with city council and planning commission study sessions, workshops and neighborhood meetings, and online surveys to explore the assets and opportunities along a major corridor through the heart of the town. The project concluded in an update of the current standards and regulatory framework and design guidelines to adequately guide and govern future development while protecting the area’s character and community’s vision.

Dave served as Project Manager for this project while at M-Group.

“Dave drew upon his deep understanding and experience of effective public participation tools to design and actively lead a public outreach and consultation process that was widely praised by the community and Town Council and became the backbone for the successful implementation of new mixed-use zoning regulations. In addition, Dave’s technical urban design and planning capabilities, combined with his awareness of best practices and local political realities, led to sound policy analysis and advice. Dave is a superior project manager and communicator, and someone I would enthusiastically recommend as a key team member for any land use planning effort.”
