San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge: West Span Bike + Pedestrian Path

Plan to Place worked closely with ARUP (project lead) and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) to implement an array of community input opportunities to share information and gather feedback on the proposed multi-use path on the west span of the Bay Bridge. Many interested stakeholders attending pop-up events and workshops, in support of the path that will close a critical gap in the Transbay and Bay Trail corridors between San Francisco and Oakland. Engagement activities included interactive exercises and a virtual reality experience that allowed participants to envision standing on the future path.
